Stacking Board

This stacking board combines 5 different shapes, 21 pieces and a compact 18 x 19 x 10 cm format in a hands-on wooden sorting activity for ages 1Y+. Each shape is guided onto its matching peg, turning simple placement into a clear sequence of grasping, aligning and stacking. Spruce and beech wood give the board and pieces a natural mixed-wood character, while the coloured and natural finishes make the individual forms easy to tell apart during play. The set supports repeated practice with matching, ordering and placing, as the same pegs can be filled again in new combinations. Because the pieces are separate and chunky, small hands can pick them up one by one, rotate them and test how each opening fits over the peg. That repeated motion supports hand-eye coordination through a concrete action rather than a passive sorting task. On the floor, on a play table or during a quiet activity break, the board creates a focused setup with visible progress as stacks grow peg by peg. The 21-piece layout leaves room for short sorting rounds as well as longer sessions with colour grouping, shape comparison and free stacking patterns.
